Trevor Hutchison

Inspired by a massive outdoor swing dance event he stumbled upon whilst backpacking in California, Trevor has been dancing Lindy Hop since 2002. 

Originally from Perth, Trevor had dabbled in ballroom dancing, but was later drawn to the music, creativity, culture and joy of swing. He has performed, taught, judged and competed around Australia and has won Jack n Jill dance contests in 3 states. As an enthusiastic collector of vintage jazz and blues music, Trevor is a sought after Swing DJ and has DJed at events around Australia and internationally. 

He brings to his teaching a joy of social dancing, passion for the original music of the swing era and respect for the history of the dance.
